Thanks, Mike. Jury is still out. But it does lend to one more question. If I do decide to do caddman or woody, anybody care to recommend a filter? K&N, Fram, something else? I already have the filter charger redo kit for the K&N, so that's kinda handy. But they're usually the most pricey out of the lot. Less money on the intake = more money for the PCIII. I won't even think about tinkering with a mod like this until I have that programmer in hand.

....leaves to go search ebay...

it's an intake topic, so i figure i'll ask here. does anyone have the jardine/mapam forwards with a forcewinder/tornado? i'm 6'1" and i'm starting to feel a little cramped on the long hauls, but i'm worried about the rubbing/bumping against the intake with my legs stretched out so much.

I've got Jardines and the Tornado. 6'4", and legs don't even come close to hitting the Tornado.
Not an issue!

Another option I found out about is the intake by Chucksters Customs. Its very much like the "stealth" (aka "Halfway to Thunder") intake setup on the Gadget site. It allows you to use your stock intake cover, does not change leg clearance, and the combined cost for the intake and the needed K&N filter ends up being about $125 bucks ($45 for the intake, and $80 for the filter). You can see pics of it on the RiderForums site here on vzDean's bike: http://www.riderforums.com/showthrea...ight=chuckster

(on a side note, i just checked chucksterscustoms.com and now the meanie intake isn't listed. Just the one for the nomad & classic. I emailed them to see if it is still available and will update this thread with their response once received)
